Moscow, (ST) – Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that, “we are currently witnessing unprecedented pressure from the West to isolate Russia with the aim of undermining its independence in the international arena”.
Lavrov stressed during an interview with Serbian media that the sanctions imposed on Russia came as a response from the West to the failure of its plans in Ukraine.
“The West cannot isolate us, our partners are many, such as China, India, the countries of the Middle East and Africa,” Lavrov added. He explained that any future agreement with Kiev must include its disarmament and the uprooting of Nazism from it.
