Russian army transfers 70 tons of humanitarian aid to the Ukrainians

Moscow, ST) – (The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Sunday that more than 70 tons of humanitarian aid is transferred for distribution to the civilian population of Ukraine.

“This aid was transported by 3 Il-76 military transport planes,” the ministry said in a statement posted on its website and reported by RT. It pointed out that this aid arrived in the city of Gomel in the Republic of Belarus, coming from the Russian city of Surgut, after which this aid will be transferred by trucks to Ukrainian population centers.

The ministry stated that this aid, which arrived in the form of convoys of trucks, will be distributed and transported soon to cities and villages in the Kiev and Chernigov regions.
