The ‘Zenobia and Shamra’ Company produces 400 pieces per minute of general surgical supplies
Yesterday the Industrial Company for Garments ‘Zenobia and Shamra’ in Aleppo launched a production line to produce general surgical supplies to meet the needs of the public and private medical sector and to dispense with imports.
The general manager of the company, Ammar Al-Youssef, said that the line is the first of its kind in the public sector and will provide medical supplies for general surgery, “a one-time from head to foot cover, and surgical and paper masks” with high specifications that compete with imported products, which contributes to the provision of foreign exchange and support for the national product.
He said that the line contains 4 machines, each with a production capacity of 100 pieces per minute, that provides the needs of the public and private sectors, in addition to exporting the company’s products at competitive prices.
He indicated that the line was done in cooperation with the private sector, and that the cooperation methodology would contribute to rebuilding and developing companies by creating productive projects of economic feasibility.
