The statement added that the detainees were planning to detonate an explosive device inside one of the Orthodox Christian churches in Crimea with the aim of terrorizing the population.

The statement said that the security forces discovered in the garage of one of the detainees, components for the manufacture of an explosive device, in addition to finding in the communication devices of the suspects instructions for the production of explosive devices and messages in which they discussed their scheme, confirming their involvement in promoting extremist ideology via the Internet.
