Hundreds join settlement process in Damascus Countryside, Raqqa, Deir Ezzor and Aleppo

The Syrian state’s efforts to restore stability and security in the areas liberated from terrorism continue within the framework of a settlement agreement that covers different Syrian governorates.

Dozens of wanted civilians and military service deserters on Wednesday joined the settlement process on its second day in Al-Tal city in Damascus countryside. They visited the settlement center established in a school in the city and settled their status in accordance with the agreement.  

The settlement centers in the countryside of Dier Ezzor, Raqqa and Aleppo also witnessed heavy turnout of wanted citizens who seek to settle their status and return to normal life in accordance with the conditions of the all-out settlement process.

Locals in these areas expressed their satisfaction over maintaining the state of security and stability in their areas as a result of implementing the settlement process which reflected positively on their daily life.

 Many of the citizens who settled their status stressed their happiness over the return of normal life to the areas liberated from terrorism, pointing out that the settlement process provided them with an opportunity to correct their path and take part in reconstructing the country and defending it against enemies.
