China: The key to resolving the Ukrainian crisis lies in the hands of Washington and NATO

Beijing (ST): China affirmed that the key to resolving the Ukrainian crisis is in the hands of the United States and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), expressing its hope that Washington will stand by peace and justice with most developing countries in the world to ease the situation in Ukraine. 

 

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhaoli Jian was quoted by Xinhua news agency as saying. “Those who caused the Ukrainian crisis should think carefully about their role in it, shoulder their due responsibilities and take practical steps to alleviate the situation and solve the problem instead of blaming others,” 

Zhao stressed that the US government’s decision on NATO’s eastward expansion is directly related to the current crisis in Ukraine.
