The political solution is the only way to end the crisis in Ukraine, says Iran

Tehran, (ST) – Iranian Foreign Minister, HosseinAmir-Abdollahian reiterated his country’s support for any political solution that  can end the crisis in Ukraine

Abdullahian said during a phone call yesterday with his Ukrainian counterpart, Dmytro Kuleba, that his country did not take a dual position regarding the crisis in Ukraine.

 He added that, Iran is constantly calling for political solutions to all crises, including in Ukraine, Afghanistan and Yemen.

For his part, Kuleba stressed that his country is committed to the need to end this crisis, citing his recent talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, which he described as necessary to end the crisis.
