A stand in Jenin in solidarity with the Palestinian prisoners in the Israeli occupation detention centers
Last night, dozens of Palestinians participated in a solidarity stand in Jenin in support of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli occupation detention centers.
Wafa News Agency reported that the participants in the sit-in in the town of Jenin called on the human rights institutions, led by the International Red Cross, to urgently intervene and put pressure on the Israeli occupation to hand over the bodies of the martyrs that it still retains and work to release all prisoners, especially the sick among them, most of all prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid.
About 5,000 Palestinian prisoners face harsh detention conditions inside the occupation’s prisons, including about 600 prisoners who urgently need medical intervention.
