Moscow requests an emergency session of the Security Council on US biological activity in Ukraine

New York (ST): The Russian Mission to the United Nations requested an emergency session of the Security Council to discuss the biological activity of the United States on Ukrainian territory.

 

Russia’s Deputy Representative to the United Nations, Dmitry Polyansky, was quoted by the Russian news agency RIA Novosti as saying on Twitter “The Russian mission has requested a meeting of the Security Council to discuss the biological military activities of the United States on the territory of Ukraine”. 

Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said yesterday “The purpose of this and other biological research funded by the Pentagon in Ukraine is to create a mechanism for the clandestine spread of deadly pathogens”. 

Member of the Russian State Duma, Nikolai Novichkov, said that Russia may request the convening of an international tribunal on biological laboratories in Ukraine.
