Prague (ST): Former Deputy Speaker of the Czech House of Representatives Vojtek Philip criticized the double standards by which many Western politicians and the international media attitude regarding the current events in Ukraine, pointing out that they remained silent when NATO bombed and sabotaged areas in Syria, Iraq and Libya. Philip explained on his Facebook site that Syria, Libya, Iraq and other countries were victims of a blatant violation of international law committed by the United States. However, the political and media circles that are now talking about Russia violating international law through its attack on Ukraine were silent at the time, and therefore their positions lacked credibility.
Philip had confirmed earlier that the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is pursuing criminal policies and working to provoke crises in countries that are not subject to the will of the United States.
