A 14-year-old Russian girl, called Diana Nikitina, has visited the headquarters of the Russian forces in Syria and handed over a letter of congratulations and love to the Russian soldiers, who are defending Syria alongside the Syrian Arab Army. She was accompanied by Russia’s Ambassador in Syria Alexander Yefimov and the Military Attaché of the Russian Embassy Viacheslav Davydov.
Diana prepared the letter in cooperation with her school mates in Moscow to convey it to the Russian soldiers in Syria marking Russia’s Defenders of the Fatherland Day
The soldiers welcomed Diana and listened to her reading the letters, expressing their happiness and gratitude for appreciating their sacrifices.
In 2018, Diana sent a school bag and stationary to a Syrian girl from the martyr’s daughters as a present. She attached a letter to the bag in which she hoped that this letter will be delivered to Mr. Asma Al-Assad.
In her letter, Diana expressed regret over the war on Syria, wishing that peace will be prevailed in the country as soon as possible.
Several days ago, Diana started a visit to Syria, during which she went to the School of the Martyrs’ Daughters where she met with the Syrian girl who had received her present.
