Dozens of Palestinians injured as a result of the occupation’s suppression of a demonstration in Hebron

Occupied Jerusalem (ST): Dozens of Palestinians were injured today as the Israeli occupation forces suppressed a demonstration in the city of Hebron in the West Bank to reject settlements and to commemorate the Ibrahimi Mosque massacre.

The Palestinian Wafa Agency stated that the occupation forces fired sound and poison gas bombs at the participants in the demonstration that took place in the vicinity of the Haram and Bab Al-Zawiya in the center of Hebron, causing dozens of suffocation, and a Palestine TV cameraman who was bruised as a result of the occupation forces attacking him to prevent him from filming.

On February 25, 1994, the terrorist settler Baruch Goldstein stormed the Ibrahimi Mosque under the protection of the occupation forces and opened fire on hundreds of Palestinian worshipers as they prostrated during the dawn prayer, killing 29 of them and wounding dozens in one of the most heinous massacres committed by the occupation against the Palestinian people.
