Abdullahian confirms that an agreement will be reached within the Vienna negotiations

Tehran (ST): Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian announced that reaching an agreement within the Vienna negotiations between Iran and the Four Plus One group on reviving the nuclear agreement is closer than ever.

In an interview with Euro News, Abdullahian said that the Iranian government had set a goal towards the Vienna talks, which is to lift sanctions, pointing out that “the unilateral and illegal US sanctions and Europe’s inaction have caused some problems for Iran, but despite all the pressures, even during the era of the administration of Former President Donald Trump failed to impeach it.”

The Iranian foreign minister added, “We are close to the agreement, and there are some issues remaining, which are our red lines. So far, we have taken many initiatives and demonstrated the required flexibility at the negotiating table in Vienna. If we say today that we are closer than ever to reaching an agreement, it is because we have informed the Americans through European mediators that their turn is now. It is the right time to see the initiatives and flexibility of the western side.”
