Moscow, (ST) – Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed that Brazil is one of Russia’s main and most prominent trade and economic partners in Latin America.
At the outset of his meeting with Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro in the Kremlin on Wednesday, President Putin expressed his hope that the meeting would have positive results.
In turn, Bolsonaro described his visit to Moscow as a message to the world that relations between Brazil and Russia are good.
The Kremlin had previously reported that the two presidents would discuss issues related to enhancing the strategic partnership between Russia and Brazil, developing trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural humanitarian cooperation, in addition to discussing a number of international issues.
