Hama Water Corporation invests in the fourth photovoltaic plant to operate wells in Sqailbiyah

HAMA,(ST)-The Public Corporation for Drinking Water in Hama has started the actual investment of the fourth photovoltaic plant to secure a continuous energy source to operate drinking water wells in the city of Sqailbiyah.

Dr. Mutee Al-Abshi, director of the foundation, said in a statement to news reporter that this station was established in Al-Rehaniyah Park in the center of Al- Sqailbiyah city, and it includes 80 photovoltaic panels with a capacity of up to 35 horsepower and contributes to extracting water through submersibles with a capacity of 50 cubic meters per hour, which increases the operational capacity of the drinking wells reducing the burdens on citizens as a result of long power cuts.

 

Al-Abshi added that this station comes in the fourth position among the photovoltaic power stations in the governorate after the stations of Soran, Hamra and Uqayribat. It is considered sustainable sources of clean energy, and it has good operational capabilities and meets the needs of citizens, indicating that the Corporation is in the process of horizontal expansion in spreading these stations within the field of in Hama Governorate.
