Tens of Syrian food companies have joined “Gulffood 2022”, the world’s largest food and beverage sourcing event currently held at Dubai World Trade Centre, UAE.
Gulffood 2022, which will last until February 17th, brings together over 4,000 companies from 120 countries.
The Syrian pavilion in the event, which kicked off yesterday, exhibits the food products of 25 food companies, according to Director General of the Syrian Export and Production Support and Development Agency (EPSDA ) Thaer Fayyad.
Fayyad pointed out that the Syrian pavilion this year is distinguished in terms of design and the quality of the exhibited products which meet international standards. He clarified that 20 other Syrian companies are also taking part in the event within private stands.
The opening of Gulffood 2022 was attended by the Syrian Consul General in the UAE Kinan Zahreddine, Head of the Syrian-Emirati Business Council Ghazwan Al-Masri, Head of the Exhibitions Committee at the Syrian Chambers of Industry Talal Qal’aji and several Syrian businessmen and economic experts.
