UAE’s Foreign Minister visits the Syrian pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai

The United Arab Emirates’ Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Saturday visited the Syrian pavilion at the Expo 2020 Dubai.

The minister toured the pavilion to be briefed on its diverse exhibits which include a replica of the Ugarit alphabet and an audio-visual presentation of a hymn called “A Hymn to Nikkal”  from the 12th century BCE Ugarit in Syria which is currently the oldest piece of annotated music known to history.

Bin Zayed expressed is admiration for the exhibited wooden panels sent by the Syrians around the world as a message to the world in Expo Dubai.

  Last month, a UAE delegation led by Minister of Social Development Hissa bint Issa Bouhamid visited the Syrian pavilion to be briefed on its various exhibits.

The Syrian pavilion was also visited by several delegations as well as by representatives of the countries and organizations participating in the expo and by many visitors.
