Palestinian Prisoners Commission warns of a dangerous attack by the occupation on prisoners

Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – The Palestinian Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Commission affirmed that the Israeli occupation this morning sent massive reinforcements to all its detention centers. The commission warned that this is an indication of a dangerous and alarming attack on the prisoners.

The commission’s media officia Thaer Shreiteh told Wafa News Agency that the occupation forces have intensified their presence in the Israeli prisons and their vicinity, which means that the occupation authorities intend to carry out raids on the Palestinian prisoners who continue with their struggle against the arbitrary practices of the occupation.

Shreiteh pointed out that the prisoners may resort to an open hunger strike to compel the occupation to cancel all the penalties it imposed on them.

Some of these penalties include repeated raids, solitary confinement, deprivation of visits and reduction of food. These penalties have frequently increased, particulalry after six Palestinian prisoners regained their freedom through a tunnel they themselves dug in Gilboa prison last September.
