Peskov: The Kiev authorities are making every effort to evade the implementation of the Minsk agreements

Moscow (ST): Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced that the discussions that brought together Russia, Ukraine, Germany and France in Berlin yesterday to find a solution to the Ukrainian crisis did not lead to any result.

Peskov pointed out the inability of diplomats to read the texts of the Minsk agreements in the same way, stressing that the Ukrainian side is doing everything in its power not to fulfill its obligations specified in these agreements.

Representatives of the four countries, who have been meeting since 2014 in the Normandy format, held talks in Berlin that lasted nine and a half hours.

Peskov said: There is no need to complicate the task, as it is summed up in ensuring the implementation of the Minsk package of measures, which were clarified with complete accuracy, in a certain sequence and according to the obligations of all parties.
