Darayya city joins settlement process

DAMASCUS, Feb.10, (ST)-Darayya city, which is located to the west of Damascus, has joined the settlement process through opening a center for settling the status of wanted people and military service deserters in accordance with the Syrian state ‘s efforts to restore normal life to liberated areas.  
 
According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), scores of wanted people and military service deserters from Darayya city came to the center of settlement, which was opened in the heart of the city to settle their status. 
 
In 2016, the Syrian army regained control over the city of Daraaya after it was under the control of terrorist groups for 4 years. 
 
In September 2016, President Bashar al-Assad performed the prayer of Eid al-Adha  at Saad Ibn Muaz Mosque in Daraya city in Damascus Countryside.
 
The president told local media: “We come here today to replace the false freedom they tried to market at the beginning of the crisis with the real freedom; the freedom that starts with restoring security and safety, goes through reconstruction and ends with the independent national decision.
