Al-Jaafari: Syrian people’s civilized mentality foiled the western bloody plot

DAMASCUS, Feb.8, (ST)-Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Bashar Al-Jaafari said on Tuesday that the illegal coercive western economic measures, which cause the suffering of the Syrian people, are  imposed by the countries that sponsor terrorism and terrorists in an attempt to globalize  terrorism and to use it for their interests. 
 
“If it were not for the wisdom and heroism of the Syrian Arab army and the existence of real allies and friends, terrorism would enter the capitals of several countries,” Al-Jaafari said during a meeting with two researchers from the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences Konstantin Truevtsev and Aida Petrosian. 
 
He added that the civilized mentality of the Syrian people foiled the western bloody plot and stopped its expansion and rooting in the region, affirming the importance of not being affected by the terms and principles that are being circulated by the western institutes and schools of oriental studies. 
 
Al-Jaafari referred to the studies and books of published by Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences  to clarify the reality of events in the Arab region. 
 
The two researches asserted that the steadfastness of the Syrian people plays a key role in the future international balances and shows the important geopolitical position of Syria. 
 
They affirmed that they will stay in  contact with Syrian intellectuals and research centers to present real stories about the events in Syria as the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences is interested in  the future and the history of the region.
