The Russian Coordination Center distributed today food aid to 400 families from Beksa village, north of Lattakia.
The representative of the Leading Center, Alexander Sasha stated that the Russian Federation continues to distribute aid in various Syrian regions, and today about 500 rations, equivalent to 4.7 tons of sugar, tea, rice and oil, were distributed to the families of the martyrs and the neediest in Beksa village.
The aid targeted the families of the martyrs and the wounded who sacrificed their blood in order to defend the homeland. The aid further targeted the poorest families, the elderly, the widows, the patients with chronic diseases and the helpless. The priority in distribution has been allocated to the families of the martyrs, the wounded, the elderly and people with special needs, in the hope that all families will benefit from the aid in the coming times. The aid has been delivered to the homes of a number of elderly and disabled people.
