On February 7, Special Adviser to the Presidency of the Syrian Arab Republic Dr. Buthaina Shaaban emphasized the Syrian-Iranian partnership in the goal and destiny, which requires a parallel partnership in media work.
During her meeting with Dr. Ahmed Norouzi, deputy head of the Radio and Television Authority in Iran and head of the Foreign Information Office and the accompanying delegation, Dr. Shaaban said that the media aspect is essential in the war between the resistance axis and the East on the one hand and Western countries on the other, because the media has a complementary role to politics and the economy.
Dr. Shaaban underlined the need to develop plans and new ways to address the West by focusing on the quality of our media content.
Dr. Shaaban said that Iran is engaged in a multi-faceted war in its negotiations over the nuclear file, and that media coordination is notless important than coordination in other fields.
Dr. Shaaban expressed her confidence that Iran will realize victory in its negotiations on the nuclear file.
Dr. Shaaban stressed to the Iranian side the need to put in place adequate plans accompanied by diligent work and exert utmost efforts to defend our rights and issues, and to be strongly present so that we can express our ownership of our civilization, culture and history.
Dr. Shaaban indicated that we need scientific and methodological planning to reach a vision that is funded and implemented on the ground, in addition to involving the cultural and artistic side in this field, and that appropriate work mechanisms must be found for all of this.
For his part, Dr. Norouzi affirmed that Syria enjoys a very special position in the Iranian media, and that Iran was certain that Syria would win the war it was subjected to in the past years.
Dr. Norouzi stressed that the West’s fight against our media is evidence of its strong influence in Western social circles, and the necessary joint plans must be drawn up in order to achieve the continuation and development of this media.
Dr. Norouzi said that Iran is committed to lifting sanctions completely in its negotiations on the nuclear file.
