Syria welcomes AU’s decision to suspend Israeli entity’s observer status

DAMASCUS, Feb.7, (ST)-Syria has welcomed the African Union’s decision to suspend the membership of the Israeli occupation entity as an observer in this organization.

“This decision stresses the African Union’s support to the just cause of the Palestinian people and it shows the increasing isolation of the entity and the condemnation of the policies of aggression and racial discrimination that govern its behavior of flagrant violation of international legitimacy,” an official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates told the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) on Monday.
