Artist Ali Al-Kafri, owner of three thousand paintings, honored in the cultural center of Abu Rumaneh

Damascus (ST): The corridors of the Arab Cultural Center in Abu Rumaneh were decorated with various paintings by  artist Ali Al-Kafri, most of which focused on Palestinian women and heritage, in addition to the participation of a group of  artists in honor of the creative artist.

The exhibition included about 35 paintings of different sizes and various techniques, in addition to a symposium on the experience of Al-Kafri, with the participation of artists, critics and researchers.

In a statement to news reporter,  artist Ali Al-Kafri spoke about creativity in art, which prompts its owner to submit a work that preserves his name for history, noting that he has undergone multiple plastic experiments with a large number of paintings that gave a special impression that was established in the minds of art recipients.

Al-Kafri mentioned that he started his artistic journey from drawing Palestinian women and heritage, presenting about 3000 paintings without focusing on a specific style.

Abdel Muti Abu Zaid, head of the Palestinian Artists Union, praised honoring the artist in his life so that he feels appreciation for his efforts and the valuable works he provided, pointing to the diversity of paintings and participants in this exhibition as an artistic demonstration that focused on different schools and styles in which Al-Kafri worked.

In her speech,  artist Lina Deeb spoke about Al-Kafri, the artist who carries in his paintings his visions and special feelings and empties them into a dense formation of environmental and historical heritage, tales and miniatures that reflect the heritage.
