Israeli settlers uprooted and vandalized some 25 olive saplings that belong to Palestinian farmers in the village of Bruqin, west of Salfit city in the West Bank, WAFA News Agency reported on Saturday.
The settlers stormed into the village last night and uprooted 25 olive saplings that were planted five years ago, WAFA clarified.
On Friday, the Israeli settlers uprooted and chopped off 90 olive saplings and trees in the neighboring villages of Yasuf and Kafr Al-Deek.
Meantime, the Israeli occupation forces detained three Palestinians in the West Bank.
Palestinian media outlets reported that the occupation forces stormed into the towns of Anza and Bruqin in Jenin and detained two young Palestinians. The third Palestinian was detained at one of the occupation’s checkpoints near the city of Tobas.
Yesterday, the occupation forces detained four Palestinians in different parts of the West Bank.
