Moscow: Some Russian landing ships arrive at the port of Tartous

 

Moscow (ST): The Russian Defense Ministry announced the arrival of a group of Russian landing ships from the Northern Fleet and the Baltic Fleet to the logistics center of the Russian Navy in the port of Tartous. 

 

A statement issued by the ministry said that a detachment of six large landing ships completed their circumnavigation of Europe and reached the eastern part of the Mediterranean Sea as part of the exercises conducted by the Russian Navy.

The statement added that the ships are currently waiting to enter the logistics center of the Russian Navy in the Mediterranean at Tartous port to refuel and get logistical materials.
