American occupation kills 13 people, including children, in the town of Atma, north of Idlib

The American occupation forces killed 13 people, including children and women, during an airdrop operation they carried out in the vicinity of Atma town in  northern Idlib countryside.

Local sources stated that “US helicopters landed with groups of special forces, which raided and destroyed some houses after besieging them in Atma area, far north of Idlib, in parallel with the bombing carried out by drones, which resulted in the killing of at least 13, including 6 children and 3 women.”

The sources pointed out that the number of victims is likely to increase due to the presence of people under the rubble of houses that were targeted by the American occupation forces.

In turn, the US Department of Defense claimed in a statement that “special forces under the command of the US Central Command carried out a successful mission to combat terrorism in Idlib and did not record losses in their ranks,” without specifying in its statement the identity of the people who were allegedly targeted in the operation.

For its part, American media reported that the American  occupation forces destroyed a helicopter that participated in the operation, after it “suffered from a mechanical problem and was forced to land.”
