The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) separatist militia has intensified its raids and oppressive practices against citizens in the areas under the militia’s control in Hasakah and Raqqa.
A group of SDF militants this morning stormed several neighborhoods in Hasakah city as well as in the refugee camp in Raqqa countryside. During these attacks, the militants kidnapped dozens of citizens and took them to unknown destination.
Local sources told SANA reporter in Hasakah that the SDF militants closed Ghweiran neighborhood and prevented the locals in leaving from it while storming into the houses under the pretext of searching for escapees from the Industrial High school-based prison.
The sources added that the SDF militia also kidnapped several youths during their raid in Khashman neighborhood, east of Hasakah, and took them to unknown destination with the aim of recruiting them within the ranks of the militia.
In Raqqa countryside, local sources told SANA that the SDF militants stormed into Al-Mahmoudli camp, Raqqa western countryside, after closing the entrances and exits of the camp. The militants kidnapped 40 residents, including elderly people.
Yesterday, the SDF militia stormed the neighborhoods of Ghweiran, Al-Aziziyah , Al-Zuhour and kidnapped a number of civilians and demolished several buildings, including several houses and a pharmacy.
