Omani foreign minister arrives at Damascus

Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi Omani foreign minister has arrived in Damascus with an accompanying delegation. Waiting to receive him at the airport was foreign minister, Dr. Faisal Mikdad who said that the relations between Syria and Oman have always been good noting that Oman stood next to Syria in its war against terrorism.

In his turn the Omani minister said that he was happy to visit Syria .He remarked upon the strategic relations between the two countries, expressing his desire that the two sides hold meetings and negotiations that would lead to cementing both the bilateral relations between the two countries and cooperation between the Arab countries.
