Corona virus kills more than 5 million and 680 thousand people around the world

Capitals (ST): The Coronavirus has killed more than five million and 680 thousand people around the world since its outbreak began in December 2019, according to the latest statistics from the American Worldometer website.

According to the website, the total number of corona infections around the world has so far reached 374,903,264, and the total deaths have reached 5,680,315 cases, while the total number of recoveries from infection has reached 295999430 cases.

The United States continues to lead the countries most affected by the virus in terms of infections and deaths, with 907,037 deaths out of 755,46580 infections, followed by India with 495,002 deaths out of 4,1265684 infections, and Brazil third, with 626,854 deaths out of 253,48797 infections.
