Syrian has protected the region from terrorism: Lebanese MP

Former Member of the Lebanese Parliament Emil Lahhoud has stressed that Syria’s steadfastness and the sacrifices of its people and army have protected the region from the danger of terrorism.

In a statement to SANA correspondent in Beirut, Lahhoud said that Syria is currently facing unilateral coercive economic measures in an attempt to undermine its steadfastness and resistant stances to serve political goals.

Lahhoud reiterated that Syria’s steadfastness has foiled all the schemes that targeted it, clarifying that the coming stage will witness recognizing Syria’s ability to restore all its rights.

The Lebanese MP pointed out that “today, the Zionist enemy is isolated and all the conspiracies it has taken part in have failed and it has become aware that any conflict with any party in the axis of resistance means that it will be eliminated”.
