The 132nd edition of “Made in Syria” Shopping Festival, the first in 2022, is due to kick off on Sunday at Al-Jalaa Sport Hall in Mezzeh.
The festival, which is organized by the Damascus and Damascus Countryside Chamber of Industry in cooperation with Damascus Governorate, will continue until February 7th.
130 local companies working in different industrial fields in several provinces are taking part in the event to present their products to Syrian families at competitive prices.
A special section was dedicated for selling different sorts of citrus at cost price.
Talal Qal’aji, Head of the Organizing Committee and Member of the Board of Damascus and Damascus Countryside Chamber of Industry, said that committee is working in cooperation with the Syrian Trading as to secure big amounts of citrus to sell them to citizens at their cost price. He pointed out that the Chamber of Industry will spare no effort as to provide marketing support for citrus producers.
The festival, which was first launched in 2015, grants martyrs’ families vouchers offered by the Chamber of Industry as well as the participating companies.
