A stand in Jenin calls for urgent intervention to save the life of the prisoner Abu Hamid

Occupied Jerusalem (ST): Dozens of Palestinians, during a solidarity stand in the West Bank, called on the international community and humanitarian organizations to intervene urgently to save the life of the prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid, who has cancer and is imprisoned in the Israeli occupation prisons.

The Palestinian Wafa Agency stated that the participants in the stand organized by the Prisoner’s Club in the city of Jenin raised banners calling for pressure on the occupation to release prisoner Abu Hamid, who risks  dying due to the deterioration of his health condition .The protesters also asked  to retrieve the bodies of the martyrs detained with him in flagrant violation of international conventions and covenants.

The cities of the West Bank witness daily stands of support for prisoner Abu Hamid, who has been detained since 2002, calling for his immediate release, especially after his health recently deteriorated and he fell into a coma as a result of him suffering from the consequences of the operation to remove a cancerous tumor in the lungs.
