Kremlin: Sending weapons to Ukraine will increase tension

MOSCOW, Jan.18, (ST)- Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has expressed Russia’s concern over the dangerous remarks of the U.S. And Britain on sending sophisticated weapons to Ukraine, saying that this act will increase tension. 
 
Novesti news agency quoted Peskov as saying to reporters that Russia is concern over the weapons providers’  hegemony on Ukraine. 
 
For his part, Russian Parliamentary Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin accused NATO of looking for a pretext to “occupy” Ukraine.
 
“It is perfectly obvious that Washington is attempting to justify its expansion and moving NATO troops towards Russian borders,” he told Russian lawmakers.
