Iraqi forces launch a security operation to pursue the remnants of terrorists

Baghdad, (ST) – The Iraqi forces announced today the launching of a security operation in the city of Tarmiyah in the north of the country to pursue the remnants of the terrorist organization (ISIS).

 

Sumaria News website quoted the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Directorate as saying in a statement that a force from the 12th Brigade of the crowd launched a raid and search operation in several areas in Tarmiyah, in search of terrorist elements who may be stationed in areas far from city centers.

On the 27th of last month, the joint Iraqi forces launched 3 security operations to pursue ISIS terrorists in the governorates of Anbar, Nineveh, Salah al-Din and Diyala.
