Syrian-Iranian talks on cooperation in housing and transfer of construction expertise

The Minister of Public Works and Housing Eng. Sohail Abdul Latif and the Iranian Minister of Roads and Cities Building Rostom Qasemi and the accompanying delegation discussed today mechanisms of bilateral cooperation and ways to achieve partnerships in the field of public works, housing and joint investment projects.

Minister Abdel Latif underlined the need to activate the agreements and executive programs signed between the two sides, pointing out that the presence of similarities in the experience of housing projects in the two countries contributes to creating fruitful cooperation and exchanging experiences in construction technology.

 

For his part, Minister Qasemi affirmed full readiness to cooperate and transfer expertise to the Syrian side, especially from private sector companies and major Iranian construction companies to contribute to the reconstruction, pointing to the success of his country’s experience in the field of housing.
