Authorities of the Turkish regime arrested 113 persons of the armed forces and military colleges on the pretext of their connection to the attempted coup that took place in July 2016.
Turkish newspaper, Zaman, reported that the Anti-Terrorism Branch of the Regional Police Department arrested 113 persons out of 185 arrest warrants originally issued during campaigns launched by the Branch in Izmir and 40 Turkish provinces.
Erdogan’s regime continues its crackdown campaigns against opponents in various Turkish cities and regions. Over the past years, thousands of civilians and soldiers have been arrested, dismissed or suspended from work in the Turkish government, army, judiciary system and education.
