Corona virus kills more than 5 million and 509 thousand people around the world

Capitals, (ST) – The Corona virus has killed more than 5,509 thousand people around the world since its outbreak began in December 2019, according to the latest statistics from the American Worldometer website.

According to the website, the total number of coronavirus infections around the world has so far reached 3,099,08896 cases, and the total deaths have  reached 5,509,989 cases, while the total number of recoveries from infection has reached 2,603,10,967.

The United States continues to lead the countries most affected by the virus in terms of infections and deaths, with 859,9994 deaths out of 61,772,968 infections, followed by India with 483,3936 deaths out of 358, 69947 infections, and Brazil third, with 6, 200,911 deaths out of 22558,695 infections.
