Enemy schemes aim to destroy Syria- Dagher

TUNIS,(ST)_ Head of the Arab Commission for Human Rights, Dr. Violets Dagher called for halting violence in Syria and launching national dialogue .

In an interview with the “Tunisian” newspaper published yesterday, Dagher warned that the goal of American- Zionist schemes set for the region is to destroy the Syrian state via toppling its leadership through armed actions initiated by the opposition since the beginning of the crisis in Syria.

Dagher stressed that armed opposition, brought Syria into what it is and cultivated citizens efforts who demanded reforms rightfully ,pointing out that the role of the Commission is based on the policy of positive intervention to stop destruction and violence and help the solution by encouraging national dialogue to avoid schemes of international , regional and Arab powers aiming at fragmenting the society into rival sects and nationalities.

She likened those describing themselves as “Syrian opposition abroad” to the Iraqi opponents who entered Iraq on American tanks, noting that all types of media highlighted those whom foreign countries maneuvered through and enforced on the political scene.

Dagher called on everyone to sit to the dialogue table to save their country , confirming that the Syrians then will find the right outlet to agree upon.
