President Al-Assad congratulates Armenian Orthodox denomination on Christmas

DAMASCUS, Jan.6, (ST)- President Bashar Al-Assad congratulated the Armenian Orthodox denomination on the occasion of Christmas, the birth of Christ, Messenger of love and peace.
 
According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the Minister of Presidential Affairs Mansour Azzam offered  congratulations in the name of president Al-Assad to Bishop, Armash Nalbandian Primate of the Armenian Orthodox Church Diocese of Damascus.
 
For his part, Nalbandian thanked president Al-Assad for this kind gesture and prayed to God to protect Syria, its people and army and to bless President Al-Assad, wishing all best for the Syrian people who are facing an unjust economic blockade.
