About 3.5 million students start the first semester exams

Damascus (ST): About 3.5 million students from all educational levels in basic and secondary schools went this morning to sit for the exams for the first semester of the 2021-2022 school year.

According to the Ministry of Education figures,  about 349,1230 students are taking exams in about 13,000 schools in all governorates, and the exams will continue until Thursday, the thirteenth of this month.

Director of Guidance at the Ministry of Education, Muthanna Khaddour, indicated in a statement that the quarterly exams are an interim evaluation of the learners’ knowledge and skill acquisitions in the first semester and help both the teacher and the learner to identify strengths and weaknesses to restore them.
