Landmine kills citizen and several sheep in Hama countryside

HAMA, Jan.3, (ST)-A citizen was martyred and several sheep died when a landmine, which was left behind by ISIS terrorists, went off in the vicinity of Al-Sheikh Hlal area in the eastern countryside of Hama, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported on Monday.

The agency clarified that the area of Al-Sheikh Hlal is located in the northeastern countryside of Salameyeh.

Terrorist groups had purposely planted mines and explosive devices in the areas that were under their control before defeating them with the aim of preventing people from returning to their houses there.
