Christian denominations in Aleppo hold a mass for peace in the Roman Catholic cathedral

Last night, the Christian denominations in the city of Aleppo held a mass for peace in the Roman Catholic cathedral in Farhat Square, presided over by Bishop George Masri, head of the Roman Catholic community in Aleppo.

During the mass, prayers, supplications and hymns were held in the hope of bringing peace to the world.

In his homily, Bishop Masri said: “We can make peace by loving one another and helping to rebuild Syria and what the terrorist war has destroyed in it.”

Bishop Masri stressed the need to work to spread peace in Syria, which lived through difficult days, but was able to achieve victory thanks to the sacrifices and heroisms of the Syrian Arab Army.

The mass was attended by Bishop Youssef Tobji, head of the Maronite community in Aleppo, Bishop Antoine Audo, head of the Chaldean community, Bishop Antoine Shahda, head of the Syriac Catholic community in Aleppo, and Bishop George Abi Khazen, head of the Latin community.
