Moscow (ST): Russian President Vladimir Putin wished prosperity and peace to all Syrian children. In a message addressed to the Syrian child, Iman Ali, delivered by soldiers of the Russian armed forces operating in Syria on the eve of New Year’s Day, President Putin said: “Dear Iman, in the coming new year, I wish you, your family, your friends, and of course all Syrian children prosperity and peace, and the fulfillment of the most cherished desires in your hearts. May each of your days be filled with smiles, joy and happiness.”

President Putin added in the message, the content of which was carried by the Russian news agency TASS: “Your letter, which is full of love and devotion, has become a real gift on the eve of the New Year holidays. It contains ideas that are not just the thoughts of a young girl but express true patriotic feelings towards her motherland. There were young but brave children like you who were ready to work for the peace and security of their homeland to become soldiers and nurses. It would have been easier for all of us to resist evil and various threats.”

The Russian President also expressed his admiration for the courage and patriotism of the little girl Iman and his congratulations to her for the coming year 2022. TASS news agency indicated that after delivering the message to the Syrian girl residing in Latakia, Santa Claus entered “in Russian” Ded Moroz and his granddaughter Snegorchka and conveyed the message and congratulations to her and helped her realize her wish and reminded her in a previous letter that she had sent to President Putin that she dreamed of becoming a military doctor, so she was invited to the Hmeimim military base in the Special Medical Unit and the Russian military doctors allowed her to make a bandage , measure the temperature, listen to the pulse, learn how to perform operations and provide first aid, as the doctors provided gifts to her.

In turn, Iman said in a statement: “If I become a doctor, I will treat all patients and I want there to be no patients at all.” She added: “I recently participated in an event to support children with cancer and I want to invent a treatment for this disease.”
