The Czech Peace Movement renews its rejection of the coercive measures imposed on Syria

Prague (ST): The Czech peace movement renewed its rejection of the unilateral coercive measures imposed by the West on the Syrian people and its condemnation of the occupation of parts of Syrian territory by the forces of aggression.

In a statement to news reporters in Prague today, the movement’s head, Milan Krajica, affirmed that “the movement supports Syria’s struggle to preserve its sovereignty and adhere to international law and the United Nations Charter, and it is constantly convinced that the Syrian people alone can decide their political future and not any other party.”

Krajica stressed that the movement stands by Syria in confronting the imperialist attempts and its allied forces to sabotage Syria by interfering in its affairs and supporting terrorist groups.

He added, “We, as a member of  the World Peace Council,  stand constantly by the side of the Syrian people in their struggle to defend their territorial integrity, and we reject all kinds of sieges, coercive measures, and foreign occupation of parts of Syrian territory.”
