On December 20th, the Israeli occupation forces demolished the village of Al-Araqib, located in the Negev region in the 1948 occupied Palestinian territories, for the 196th time in a row since 2000.
Wafa news agency reported that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the village with a number of bulldozers, demolished Palestinian homes and tents, and displaced dozens of families, leaving them without shelter.
The residents of the village of Al-Araqib affirm their continuation of the battle of steadfastness on their lands, rebuilding their homes and setting up tents again.
They stressed their rejection of the occupation plans that demolished dozens of villages in the occupied Palestinian territories in 1948 with the aim of displacing their people and seizing their lands whose area is estimated at hundreds of thousands of dunams, as part of Israel’s plan to Judaize these villages.
