On December 19th, the Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen in Damascus Abdullah Ali Sabri stressed the depth of the bilateral relations between his country and Syria.
Sabri pointed out that they include common denominators that unite the two countries within the framework of Arabism and humanity.
On the sidelines of a symposium entitled (Yemen: The Battle of Independence in the Present and the Future) held by the Yemeni Embassy in the Cultural Center at Damascus University, ambassador Sabri said: “The Yemeni-Syrian relationship today has common denominators, as the tools of aggression against Yemen are the same as against Syria, and the fate is definitely victory for both countries against foreign conspiracies.”
Sabri explained that the suffering experienced by the Yemeni and Syrian peoples is the result of external interventions and attempts to divide the nation in implementation of the plans of the Zionist-American project in the region that the two peoples face with rejection and resistance.
Sabri pointed out that the aggression against Yemen aims to control the strategic location of this country, exploit its wealth, confiscate its sovereignty and independence, and prevent its unity and renaissance.
