Young Talents in the (Flashes of Fine Art) Exhibition

Young plastic art  talents from the city of Aleppo were present in the exhibition held by the Directorate of Culture in the governorate under the title (Flashes of Fine Art) which is an opportunity to display their artistic productions and the fruits of their studies of art.

The exhibition, which was held in cooperation with Al-Shahba Cultural Symposium, comes within the directorate’s efforts to support young talents and encourage them to continue, Jaber Al-Sajour, Director of Culture, told SANA reporter.

 

Dr. Eng. Yasser Dashawali, Head of the Cultural Committee at Al-Shahba Symposium, stated that 65 male and female artists are participating in the exhibition, who presented different works over three days. He noted the exhibition aims at supporting young plastic art talents and briefing the audience on them. 

Among the participants, the young artist, Shahd Istanbouli, presented two paintings from the abstract school. The first embodies the landmarks of the city of Aleppo from ancient alleys, and the second expresses femininity and its connection to music.

The paintings of the plastic artist Iman Muhanna in the exhibition depicted human suffering, the unlimited gifts of the mother, and the importance of cooperation to be one hand in facing challenges.

The young artist, Nariman Kassem, presented paintings that embody hope and self-confidence.

From the audience, plastic artist Aline Dekermanjian said that these exhibitions reflect the activity of the cultural and artistic movement in the city of Aleppo, pointing to the aesthetics of the color techniques used in expression within the exhibition’s paintings.
