Head of the Slovak Socialists Party “Artur Bekmatov” has condemned the maintaining of the unilateral coercive economic measures imposed on Syria, stressing that these sanctions were imposed on Syria because it refused to subjugate to the will of the Western countries and the United States.
In a statement to SANA correspondent in Prague on Saturday, Bekmatov said that the coercive measures imposed by the West on Syria are completely meaningless, lashing out at the American and Turkish interventions in the country.
He pointed out that the reports published by some western media outlets have affirmed that the American occupation forces shelled Syrian areas randomly, leading to many human casualties.
He stressed that the real war criminals are having Washington and Ankara as their headquarters.
